About
Isamar
Hi there! My name is Isa, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with 6 years of clinical experience. I am deeply passionate about mental health advocacy and supporting individuals, especially those seeking therapy for the first time. My approach is person-centered, client-focused, and tailored to your pace. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and validating space while also holding you accountable and challenging you as needed throughout treatment. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you build self-awareness, break unhealthy patterns, set boundaries, and work toward your best, authentic self.
I am a First-Gen Latina Therapist and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community who is passionate about advocating for my community. In addition to my clinical work, I run a small business as a press-on nail artist—a creative outlet I developed as a coping skill during the pandemic. Outside of work, I prioritize health, wellness, and self-care. I love animals, especially my two Pitbulls, and I hope to start my own animal rescue one day. I also enjoy caring for house plants, spending quality time with my friends, having slow mornings when possible, and staying connected with my grandmother.
