About
Ingrid
Ingrid believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is built upon safety, trust, compassion, and collaboration. She strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and lived experiences. Ingrid recognizes that each person’s unique experiences, relationships, and belief systems influence how they understand themselves and navigate the world. Her clinical approach is collaborative and client-centered, encouraging clients to develop greater self-awareness through reflection, curiosity, and evidence-based interventions. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, Ingrid works alongside clients to identify patterns, increase psychological flexibility, and develop practical coping strategies that support lasting change. Ingrid values each client’s strengths and resilience. She encourages clients to build upon their existing abilities while developing self-monitoring skills, emotional regulation, self-compassion, and effective coping strategies. Through a balance of validation, accountability, and encouragement, she supports clients in setting meaningful goals, resolving internal conflicts, strengthening independence, fostering hope, and building resilience to navigate future challenges with confidence.
Outside of work, Ingrid enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs. She enjoys indoor cycling, taking working out classes and doing arts and crafts.
