Ingrid
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Ingrid values the importance of providing a standard of care to her clients that includes the safe space that is essential to building a therapeutic relationship. She encourages the client to explore and process their thoughts, identify their feelings and understand their behaviors. She understands and believes that one’s point of view and experiences can shape a one’s belief system and outlook. With compassion and respect, Ingrid collaborates with her clients to identify and address internal conflicts and how those are connected to their external circumstances. At the same time, she assists the client in learning to self-soothe and identify their strengths and coping skills that promote goal-setting, instill hope, and encourage change, independence, resilience and grit.
Ingrid enjoys spending time with her dogs, cycling, taking yoga classes and reading a good book.
