About
Imara
Hello! I am Imara, I am glad you are here. I believe that therapy should feel like friendly conversations. My approach is person centered, relaxed and collaborative. My aim is to provide you with a safe, warm, and judgement free space where you can comfortably explore your feelings and thoughts openly and at your own pace.
Together we will focus on your strengths and already existing skills, while at the same time enhancing your strengths with new skills to navigate life's challenges. I value, honor and welcome your feedback. Throughout our time together, I want to know what is working for you and what is not, so that we adjust to what really works. My aim is to work together as a team in order to achieve positive results.
I enjoy and value spending time with my children, husband and family. I value my faith in Jesus Christ (my rock). In my free time I enjoy the outdoors, I enjoy watching good movies/ TV series. I also enjoy music, karaoke, traveling, arts and crafts. I sometimes volunteer in pet shelters (fostering kittens). I love animals, I have 1 dog and 2 cats.
