she/her
Ilse
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Grounded in empathy and curiosity, Ilse creates a calm and supportive environment for clients to slow down, reflect, heal, and grow. Her collaborative approaches blends warmth, gentle humor, and CBT-based strategies to help clients gain insight, build resilience, and develop a deeper sense of self-understanding.
For Ilse, therapy is a place for genuine connection, where compassion, curiosity, and humor can coexist. She feels honored to walk alongside clients as they meet themselves with kindness, make sense of their experiences, and find ways to move through life's challenges. Her hope is that each client leaves therapy feeling more grounded, confident and connected to who they are.
In her spare time, Ilse finds joy in tending to her many houseplants, spending time outdoors with her pup, and creating adventure through local and international travel. She finds balance and inspiration in nurturing connections to herself, others, and the world around her.
