About
Hilary
I know that finding the right therapist can feel like a big task, and my goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported as we work together. I value hearing your story and tailoring therapy to your unique strengths, values, and goals, using an approach grounded in CBT and ERP while drawing from DBT skills. My style is warm, calming, and collaborative, and I strive to create a space where you feel both accepted and empowered to make meaningful changes.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my dog, cooking and sharing good food, and connecting with friends and family. My self-care practices include self-compassion, music, reading, body doubling, and noticing small moments of joy in daily life. I identify as a Queer White woman, and my experiences—including moving from the East Coast to the West Coast in my early twenties—have shaped my appreciation for the ways identity, community, and life transitions influence well-being. While I am not personally religious or spiritual, I was raised in a religious household and deeply respect the important role that faith, spirituality, and cultural traditions can play in people’s lives.
