Yamel has a passion for serving adults, children and families who are survivors of child abuse, sexual abuse and trauma. Yamel proudly identifies as a Latina immigrant and enjoys helping people in the BIPOC community. She is a lifelong learner and creates an environment in which clients can learn to feel more connected to themselves, others and the world around them. Therapy is a process involving self-reflection and conversations that honor the struggles of life.

Yamel enjoys traveling, RV camping, hiking and outdoor sports with her family and dogs.
