About
Estelle
My motivation: To help you be the best version of yourself; to be the best you can be; as well as being comfortable in your skin. My clinical style/approach: I start by building rapport and getting to know you and what your concerns are. My approach is very client-focused. We start where you are. We come up with a treatment plan and start where you are. We go at your pace. My client focus: I have experience with the military, veterans, and their families. I have experience with individuals, families and with children. My communication style I am empathic and I assist. I am also direct. What I do not work with: I do not offer couples or family counseling. I also did work with individuals experiencing concerns with eating disorders (previous is okay) and those who are mandated by the courts for therapy. I do not write notes for the court or for your attorney; this platform can give records, though. My journey to becoming a provider: I did a lot of volunteer work and held a few leadership positions. I fell in love with helping people, and I was told that to achieve this, I would need to go back to school and complete my degree. I than completed by second Master's degree and completed my licensure.
I am a big advocate for self-care, as a current client stated "you talk the walk." I speak about self-care with my clients and I "practice what I preach" (it's a saying not actually preaching lol). I am spend my time being active with my young child. I am a (older) mom to an elementary school student. We attend various theme parks, festivals, movies (and screenings) and simply enjoying everything that Southern California has to offer. I am a native of Los Angeles with roots from Louisiana and India.
