About
Emma
Hi, I’m Emma. I became a therapist because I am passionate about supporting people as they ask important questions and deepen their understanding of themselves. I know it is vulnerable to seek therapy, and I feel honored to partner with clients as they grow, heal, and build lives that feel more true to who they are. My style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I’ll listen closely, ask meaningful questions, and help you understand the patterns keeping you stuck while finding clear ways to move forward. I have particular experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients, people experiencing sleep and mood challenges, healing from trauma, and navigating major life transitions.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time with my family, my very large dog, and my cat. I enjoy reading and writing, and am usually reading multiple books at a time. I’m drawn to the small things that make life feel richer: good meals, deep conversation, a beautiful view, and time to slow down. I identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and come from a multi-cultural, immigrant family.
