About
Emilyn
Hi, I’m Emilyn! I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space in therapy where individuals feel deeply heard and understood. My goals are to create a strong therapeutic relationship and approach our sessions with curiosity and openness, so as to honor your identity and lived experiences and help you better understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are all interconnected. I would like to help you identify your strengths and develop self-compassion, honor your inner wisdom, and gain insight into actionable steps that you can take to create the changes that you hope to see in your life.
In my spare time, I deeply value spending quality time with friends and family, reading fiction books, going for long walks and enjoying the outdoors, and trying new restaurants.
I identify as Bangladeshi-American and am a second-generation immigrant. I find fulfillment in attending cultural festivals and providing mental health education in the South Asian community.
