About
Emily
Hi, I'm Emily! I am committed to creating a safe and affirming space for all, while cultivating a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. I am passionate about working as a team with clients to set goals and identify obstacles while encouraging mindfulness and self-compassion. I approach my clinical work with empathy and a bit of humor to help clients heal and adopt healthy behavioral changes in their lives.
In my spare time, you can find me spending time with family and friends, chasing after my toddler, or focusing on one of my many hobbies. I enjoy reading (anything fantasy), quilting, cross-stitching, completing puzzles, and playing video games. I also love being outside, whether it's hiking, or camping, or just binge-watching TV shows and movies. I identify as a part of the LGBTQIA+ population and enjoy volunteering in my community, where I advocate for the queer community and animal shelters.
