About
Elise
Hello, I'm Elise. A lot of people arrive in therapy already knowing why they feel the way they do. They've read the books, they've thought about it, they may have been in therapy before. What's missing usually isn't insight — it's the experience of feeling steady in their own body. That's the work I love. I pay attention to what's happening underneath the conversation: your sleep, your energy, your breathing, how stress actually shows up in you physically. Those things aren't separate from what you're struggling with. When your body starts to feel safer, everything else gets more workable. I'm warm and I'm direct. I'll ask more questions than I answer, because I'm not trying to hand you my conclusions — I want you to find your own. What brings me joy is watching someone realize they can do something they didn't think they could do.
Outside of work, you'll find me spending time with my family and my cat, Maverick, exploring the outdoors or traveling somewhere new. I'm a lifelong learner and an avid reader; there's always something I'm curious to know more about. Music and my spiritual life are both grounding for me.
