About
Elaine
I engage with every client to form a strong therapeutic bond which will support them into the therapeutic process. I work to foster individual interpersonal strengths. I encourage clients to observe their individual strengths towards challenges and then we work together to increase mastery with skills learned in every session. I approach clinical work with a focus on adopting healthy behavioral changes that will increase life satisfaction.
I enjoy spending time with my family to include my grandchildren and social activities. I enjoy reading (everything), walking, learning new hobbies and seeking adventure whenever possible. I have been learning how to play the guitar which is a challenge of course!! I enjoy body awareness such as weight lifting and yoga. I aim to keep a new perspective on everything I encounter and continue to explore novel experiences. I bring these practices into my therapeutic approaches.
