Deena Hitzke
She/Her/They/Them
Deena
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Deena enjoys building a strong therapeutic relationship to create a safe space for exploring the emotional, psychological, and sensory influences that drive our behaviors and states of being. She uses a mix of evidence based techniques to empower people toward a lived experience of confidence, calm, and insight. Those seeking a deeper understanding of themselves are likely to flourish during therapy with Deena, acquiring the tools to master their lives and well being.
In her spare time, Deena likes to do anything sensory, whether it be taking in the sun and watching the birds and tree leaves, laying in her massage chair, or taking what she calls a mental vacation by imagining herself on the beach, near a babbling brook, or on a bench looking out upon a lake, using Sensory Self Hypnosis to fool her body into thinking she is actually experiencing these places.
