Hola! I’m Crystal. Since getting my bachelor’s degree, I’ve worked with a variety of populations, ranging from substance use disorders to adulthood struggles stemming from childhood trauma. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with individuals who’ve suffered injuries and had their lives change from one day to the next. I believe in meeting my clients wherever they are in the process, teaching coping skills to manage their day-to-day struggles, and then identifying the root causes to create true healing.
I am a child of immigrants (Mexico) and part of the LGBT+ community, therefore, outside of work, I am spending lots of time with my family. You will find me listening to music, watching scary movies, or listening to some good thriller audiobooks. My wife and I have two cats and a dog that take up a lot of our time, in the best way possible. I recently began to also foster kittens and injured stray cats in my community.
