Chief Clinical Officer

Colleen Marshall, MA, LMFT, brings over two decades of executive leadership experience in behavioral health and behavior change service delivery and management to her role as Chief Clinical Officer at Two Chairs. With a keen focus on behavior change methodologies, particularly Motivational Interviewing, Colleen has applied her expertise to multiple start-ups and established herself as a thought leader in the field.  She is the author of Motivational Interviewing for Leaders in the Helping Professions: Facilitating Change in Organizations.

In her capacity as Chief Clinical Officer, Colleen has been instrumental in shaping the care model, scaling and structuring clinical teams, and driving quality and innovation initiatives at Two Chairs. Her extensive background includes serving in executive positions for non profits, community mental health, start up and digital health organizations, In her capacity she spearheaded the development of care models and training programs aimed at enhancing clinical effectiveness and organizational excellence.

Colleen also has served on the board and held positions such as Chair, Treasurer, and Trainer of Trainers for Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT, Inc.). 

With over 20 years of clinical experience in behavioral healthcare, spanning across various organizational settings including community mental health, non-profit, start-ups, and digital health, Colleen brings a wealth of knowledge to her work. Her expertise extends to speaking engagements at regional, national, and international conferences, where she shares insights on topics such as Implementation, Clinical Leadership, Motivational Interviewing, and Measurement Based Care.

Beyond her role at Two Chairs, Colleen serves as a trainer and consultant for organizations seeking to integrate Motivational Interviewing into their leadership philosophy and approach. She holds a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California.
