About
Charissa
Hi, I’m Charissa. I believe that therapy works best when it’s built on a foundation of true trust, safety, and a little bit of encouragement. Walking into a therapy space can feel daunting, which is why my primary goal is to create a space where you feel entirely safe to voice the thoughts that feel scary, heavy, or bound by the fear of judgment. Here, there is no judgment—just room to breathe and grow. I am deeply driven by a desire to understand your unique "Why." Because no two people are the same, I draw from a wide variety of therapeutic modalities to customize a treatment plan tailored specifically to you. In our sessions, we will highlight and celebrate your successes, but we will also gently challenge you toward growth so you can reach your self-identified goals. My hope is that you leave every single session learning something new about yourself.
When I’m not partnering with clients, I’m usually embracing the adventures of motherhood and exploring new places. Nourishing my own spiritual health and deeply investing in my relationships with family and friends are what keep me grounded and energized to do the work I love.
