About
Cassey
I became a therapist because I believe healing happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and safe enough to show up exactly as they are—messy parts and all. Life can be heavy, and sometimes we carry pain, trauma, anxiety, grief, or self-doubt for so long that it starts to feel like part of who we are. I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves and realize they are so much more than the things they’ve survived.
My style is warm, genuine, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel cold or overly formal to be effective. You can expect honesty, compassion, and the occasional gentle humor when it helps lighten the load. I show up as a real human, not just a clinician behind a clipboard.
I strive to create a space where you don’t have to shrink, mask, or pretend you’re okay when you’re not. I’ll meet you with empathy, but I’ll also lovingly challenge the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Sometimes healing looks like deep emotional processing, and sometimes it looks like learning how to set boundaries, trust yourself, and finally choose peace over survival mode.
At the heart of my work is this belief: healing is possible, growth is possible, and even after life knocks you down, you can rebuild something beautiful.
Outside of work, I’m a boy mom first and cherish spending quality time with my family. I recharge by getting out in nature—whether that’s hiking, exploring the Pacific Northwest, or simply soaking in fresh air and quiet moments.
I also enjoy strength training, music, creative expression, and anything that helps me feel grounded and connected to myself. I’m a big believer in practicing what I encourage in therapy: making space for rest, joy, movement, and mindfulness.
I also appreciate life’s simple pleasures—good food, meaningful conversations, laughter, and those small moments that remind us to slow down and be present.

education and experience
- I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work and experience working with individuals, children, adolescents, and families across a variety of settings. My clinical background includes outpatient mental health, crisis intervention, community-based services, child and family therapy, and trauma-focused care. I have worked with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship challenges, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, and complex family dynamics. Throughout my career, I have supported people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives, including crisis situations requiring immediate stabilization and compassionate intervention. These experiences have strengthened my ability to remain calm, grounded, and present, even in high-stress situations. My goal is always to provide care that is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique story and needs.
