Benjamin Shapiro
He/Him
Benjamin
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Dr. Ben Shapiro believes that effective psychiatric treatment begins with a clear and accurate diagnosis. He conducts comprehensive evaluations that explore the patient's symptoms, medical history, life story, personal goals, and how psychiatric symptoms may be interfering with those goals. With this foundation, Dr. Shapiro uses a shared decision-making approach to introduce evidence-based pharmacologic and therapeutic interventions. He emphasizes slow, methodical treatment adjustments to minimize polypharmacy and reduce the risk of side effects. Dr. Shapiro also encourages patients to involve their support system in monitoring progress and maintaining long-term treatment success.
In his spare time, Dr. Shapiro enjoys skiing, hiking, reading, DIY home improvement, and computer programming.
