She is motivated by a deep commitment to helping individuals cultivate healthier ways of relating to themselves, others, and the world around them. With a focus on empowerment and personal growth, Dr. Akpan supports clients in accessing their strengths and enhancing their well-being, so they can show up more fully and effectively in all areas of their lives.

Outside of clinical work, Dr. Akpan enjoys catching up on her TV shows, listening to music, and staying connected with family through video chats. She finds balance through long walks with her dog and values quality time with friends, whether that's a night in or over a good brunch.
