About
Aurora
I believe therapy is a space to make sense of what you're carrying—you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. I offer a warm, grounded, and collaborative space where we can explore what's happening with curiosity and without judgment. I take an integrative, trauma-informed, and whole-person approach because mental health doesn't exist in isolation. Together, we can look not only at thoughts and emotions, but also at how relationships, physical health, self-care, stress, substance use, and your environment affect how you feel. I draw from evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, and somatic mind-body tools like Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) tapping. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor our work to you—building on your strengths and interests while identifying practical tools and meaningful changes that fit your life.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my Goldendoodle, Nala, being outdoors—preferably in the sun—and staying near the water. I enjoy both creating and listening to music, and I'm often working on a new creative project. I consider myself to have a curious soul: I genuinely love learning and exploring new things, whether that means picking up a new hobby, learning about another culture, or diving deep into a topic that catches my interest.
