About
Ashley
My journey as a therapist is anchored in a simple, steady belief: that we all deserve a safe place to truly know ourselves. I see my role as a companion on your path, helping you create that sense of safety while you explore what it means to be authentically you. I’m deeply curious about what brings meaning and purpose to your life, and I love walking alongside people as they learn to listen to their own inner compass—finding actions that feel aligned, and nurturing the relationships they hold with themselves and others. In our work together, I tend to lean into a depth-oriented approach. I’m naturally curious about the currents moving beneath the surface of your daily experiences, but I also value finding ways to bring that depth into the "mundane"—the real, everyday moments of life. I don’t believe in having all the answers; instead, I view our sessions as a collaborative space where we can hold the complexity of your experience together. My hope is to offer gentle, practical support as you bridge the space between your inner world and the life you want to lead. I also feel a strong pull toward helping people reclaim their bodies as a true home. My background in supporting those with eating disorders informs my approach, which is rooted in a desire to help you make peace with your body—even when the world, diet culture, or societal expectations around age and gender suggest otherwise. I lean into a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective, and I’m here to support you in discovering what feels genuinely good and sustainable for you, beyond the noise of restrictive narratives. More broadly, I love supporting people through significant life transitions—whether you are navigating changes in your career or relationships, the path toward parenthood, spiritual seeking, or simply exploring what it means to belong and be authentic in your own skin.
When I’m not in the office, you’ll most often find me outside on California's central coast—tending my garden with earbuds in, listening to a podcast, and soaking up the sunshine. I am a lifelong learner at heart, deeply curious, and often (unintentionally) juggling three books and two projects at once. I’m also an avid spiritual seeker, love being connected to the rhythms of nature, and find my humor and grounding through the company of my wonderful husband, friends, family, and our beloved animal companions. Community is a powerful force in my life and I am honored to be connected with incredible, local, heart-centered organizations where I can volunteer my time and help spread more love in the world.
