Ashlei Armstead
About
Ashlei
I am passionate about helping clients recognize their own strengths and become the hero of their own story. I work collaboratively with clients to identify solutions to life’s challenges while fostering self-awareness, reflection, and personal growth. I like to utilize a blend of psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approaches to support each client’s unique needs and goals.
I am known for being genuine, direct, down-to-earth, and approachable in my therapeutic style. I will compassionately challenge unhelpful thought patterns and encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone in a way that promotes healing and growth. If you are looking for a therapist who is honest, relatable, humorous, and authentic, I am your girl.
In my free time I enjoy relaxing on the couch with my Chiweenie, Bella, binge-watching shows, and enjoying quiet moments to recharge. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, taking my dog on walks, and appreciating the balance between connection and self-care.
