About
Anqoinette
Hello! My name is Anqoinette, but please feel free to call me "Q." I pride myself on creating a safe, supportive space where clients can show up as their most authentic and vulnerable selves without fear of judgment or criticism. I view therapy as a powerful vehicle for positive change and believe that when it is approached collaboratively, with openness and honesty, growth and healing are possible. I specialize in working with individuals navigating adjustment disorders, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and the many challenges that come with simply being human. I approach my clinical work with self-awareness and deep respect for the fact that each client is the expert on their own life. Because every client is unique, I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centered therapy, and a strengths-based perspective to tailor treatment to each individual's needs, goals, and experiences. Together, we will identify your existing strengths, build new skills, and create meaningful change aligned with the life you want to live. I also value the thoughtful use of self-disclosure when it is clinically appropriate and relatable. While our experiences may differ, none of us are exempt from life's challenges. I believe that acknowledging our shared humanity can foster connection, authenticity, hope, and healing within the therapeutic relationship.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy indoor cycling, event planning and design, being a proud dance mom, and spending time with my newly teenage daughter.
