About
Ann
I believe that one of the most important components of my work is to engage clients with a strengths-based, solution-focused approach. As a therapist, I create an environment that fosters mental health and effectively assists clients with responding to mental-health challenges. I passionately believe that the healing process is enhanced when clients discover what brings them meaning and purpose. I strive to assist my clients to replace maladaptive thoughts, feelings and behaviors with adaptive ones that satisfy the individual’s unique needs and improve their overall functioning. I am also able to assist clients with incorporating spirituality in their therapeutic journey, if they so choose.
I am a wife and a mother of a teen and a young adult who enjoys leisure time in botanical gardens, at theme parks and at the beach. I always enjoy a good book, TV show or movie and, of course, I love good food.
