About
Angel-Lynna
As a Vietnamese American, I understand how culture, family expectations, and lived experiences can shape the way we navigate life, relationships, and mental health. Growing up, I experienced firsthand how mental health wasn't always talked about openly and how asking for help could feel uncomfortable or even carry a sense of shame. Those experiences stayed with me and ultimately inspired me to become a therapist. They also shaped the kind of therapist I strive to be, someone who creates a space where people feel accepted, supported, and understood without having to hide parts of themselves. I bring curiosity, humility, and respect for each person's unique story, recognizing that our identities, relationships, and experiences all play a role in how we move through the world. In our work together, I help clients slow down, get curious about their patterns, and develop a gentle relationship with themselves. I believe meaningful change happens when we feel safe enough to be honest about what we're carrying, and you don't have to figure it all out alone.
Outside of work, I’m usually either out exploring or fully embracing a rot day at home, there’s rarely an in between. I love traveling, discovering new neighborhoods, and gaining experiences that help me stay curious about the world and the people in it. At the same time, I deeply value rest and quiet moments to recharge. Some of my favorite days are spent at home with a good show, a cozy blanket, my rescue dog, Koda, and absolutely no plans.
