About
Amy
Hi, I'm Amy. I'm a clinical social worker with a strong belief in the possibility of clients' recovery and progress. I use strengths-based approaches that highlight human dignity and decision-making. My approach is caring and collaborative. I find purpose in helping clients navigate times of challenge and uncertainty. Grounded in diverse social work practice, I believe that the therapy process can be a strong catalyst for individual and social change.
Clients' privacy and the integrity of the therapeutic process is important to me. Therefore, I have opted out of using AI-assisted tools in the therapeutic process.
Originally from the Southwestern U.S., I enjoy hiking, spending time outdoors, cooking, eating spicy food, reading, keeping a good sense of humor, and exercising my 80 pound rescue mutt. I enjoy engaging in civic matters, and help develop professional materials related to social work regulation throughout the U.S. and Canada.
