About
Amber
My motivation as a therapist comes from a genuine fascination with human resilience and a desire to help people stop feeling stuck. I believe therapy should feel like a human connection, not a clinical procedure. You don't need to be "fixed" because you aren't broken and my goal is simply to help you understand yourself better, recognize what might be getting in your way, and step into the life you actually want to live. My style is warm, engaging, and down-to-earth. I bring real energy and even humor into our sessions, because healing doesn't always have to feel heavy. I’ll be in your corner to celebrate your wins, hold space for you when things are tough, and gently call you out when you’re selling yourself short. While I draw from proven therapeutic strategies, I tailor everything to you as a person rather than following a rigid script, ensuring our work feels real, collaborative, and practical.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I’m a Southern girl living in the Pacific Northwest who loves making the most of my downtime. You’ll usually find me outdoors enjoying the sunshine—whether that’s tanning, lounging by the pool with a good book, or keeping up with college football (go Vols!). I also love expressing myself through makeup and fashion, and I'm currently working on my doctorate in Traumatology because I just love learning. As a woman who values community, inclusivity, and being comfortable in my own skin, I bring my authentic self into every space I’m in. Sharing a bit of who I am outside the office helps ensure that when we sit down together, you're connecting with a real, grounded human being who appreciates life in all its colors.
