About
Allison
I am continually inspired by the resilience, strength, and potential people discover when they feel truly heard and understood. My approach begins with creating enough safety and trust for clients to understand the reasons behind their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and to replace shame and self-judgment with honesty and self-compassion. From there, we work together to recognize what is no longer helping them and develop healthier choices that better reflect who they are now and where they want to go.
I am a Christian and a mother, and being a mom has always been the most important role in my life. I love learning—especially about people—and I am fascinated by how human beings can be both incredibly complex and surprisingly simple. I get my energy from being with others and am usually game for anything, whether that means traveling, enjoying the outdoors, playing games, laughing, dancing, or trying something completely new, although I also value reading and time alone.
