About
Alison
Hi, I’m Alison! My approach to mental health is rooted in the belief that everyone has the inherent capacity to chart their own course toward well-being.
I have learned so much from my work in restorative justice, and I seek to integrate that philosophy into my practice as a trauma-informed and relationship-centered clinician. Having worked with people (individuals, family units, groups, and children/adolescents) in a variety of settings (community-based mental health, individual therapy, and rehabilitative programming in California prisons), I feel inspired by the resilience of the people I get to support toward healing and self-determination.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and dog, traveling near and far, hiking, practicing yoga, gardening, and decorating or redecorating family and friends’ living spaces. I find joy in friendships, laughter, adventure and building community.
