About
Samia
I believe you are the expert on your experience. My therapeutic approach combines elements of supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness and self-compassion to assist clients in identifying and utilizing their strengths while developing additional insights and skills to address life’s challenges and to appreciate moments of joy. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient mental-health settings and enjoy supporting my clients in meeting their therapeutic goals.
In my spare time, I enjoy going for walks and doing yoga and Pilates and any other activity that combines breath and body work. I find I am happiest when I am outside being active in nature.
