Monica is a trained marriage and family therapist, and her passion is relationships, whether an intimate partnership, family or, most importantly, the relationship that clients have with themselves. Monica thrives on helping clients find healthy perceptions of themselves, and she uses a strengths-based, narrative- and solution-focused approach to help clients reconnect with themselves. Monica prides herself on being nonjudgmental and open-minded and acknowledges that her clients are the experts on their lives.
Monica is also a 200-hour certified yoga instructor. Her other interests include holistic health modalities and cultural and LGBTQ issues. Monica finds balance in her life as a wife and fur mom. She is a bit of a foodie, appreciates a good sense of humor and loves travel, Pilates, cooking, and reading a great biography.
