Youri
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
"I'm glad to have the opportunity to introduce myself. With over 16 years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including older adults, adults, adolescents, the LGBT community, and the military community. My approach to therapy is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care. Throughout my career, I have witnessed the transformative power of CBT, which focuses on identifying and modifying negative thought patterns and behaviors to foster positive change. By working collaboratively with my clients, I aim to empower them to develop healthier coping strategies and achieve their therapeutic goals. Moreover, I have specialized in providing trauma-informed care, recognizing the unique needs of individuals who have experienced trauma. By creating a safe and supportive environment, I strive to help my clients heal from past traumas and build resilience. My dedication to serving diverse populations has allowed me to develop a deep understanding and cultural sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by each group. I believe in fostering a non-judgmental and inclusive therapeutic space where individuals can explore their identities, experiences, and emotions. I am passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those I work with, and I look forward to continuing my journey in the mental health field, supporting individuals on their path to emotional well-being and personal growth."

In my spare time I love to work on myself, learn and advance my spirituality. I have a TikTok channel where I offer my expertise on motivation and working on yourself. I enjoy spending time with my dogs and taking walks with them outside. I love sports, movies and spending quite times alone.
