Telma Armendariz
About
Telma
I am a bilingual trauma-informed and somatic psychotherapist dedicated to helping clients reconnect with their deepest sense of self, fostering self-compassion, resilience, and authentic connection. My clinical style blends existential and psychodynamic insight with mindfulness, somatosensory experiencing, and culturally responsive care, creating space for clients to explore not only symptom relief but also meaning, intimacy, and spiritual growth. I specialize in supporting adults navigating complex relational stress and challenges around sex, intimacy. I believe deeply in the power of nervous system regulation and embodied awareness to move beyond survival patterns, fostering a deeper capacity for safety, pleasure, presence, and authentic connection.
Outside of my clinical work, I find inspiration in nature, music, and cultural expression. I draw from diverse artistic and spiritual traditions to stay connected to the richness of human experience—an exploration that continually shapes my approach and warm, attuned, and deeply reflective therapeutic presence.
