Shanard Clemons

He/Him
Shanard
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, he is deeply motivated by the opportunity to walk alongside individuals as they navigate life's challenges and work toward personal growth. His clinical style is rooted in a strong relational focus and he believes that healing and change happen within the context of a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship. He strives to create an environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their inner world. With experience supporting clients through a wide range of mental health concerns, he enjoys working collaboratively to identify both internal and external obstacles that may be interfering with their well-being. At the same time, he helps each client recognize and harness their own interpersonal strengths, fostering resilience and self-efficacy. He takes joy in seeing clients grow in self-awareness, implement healthy behavioral changes, and develop deeper, more meaningful connections with themselves and others. His counseling approach is compassionate, client-centered, and tailored to meet each person where they are and honor their unique story and pacing the work accordingly.

In his free time, Shanard enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, teaching dance, shopping, and watching a good movie. He finds joy in laughter, music, reading, spirituality, and building meaningful relationships. These activities not only bring balance to his life but also reflect the values of connection, creativity, and mindfulness that he brings into his work as a therapist.
