They/Them
Raelle
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Rae is motivated by a deep belief that healing happens in relationship, not performance. They are drawn to work that honors the full complexity of being human -- messy, resilient, embodied, political, and tender all at once. Rather than practicing ""blank slate"" therapy, Rae shows up as a real person in the room: grounded, curious, and deeply attuned to power, identity, and lived experience. Their clinical style is collaborative, trauma-informed, and somatic. Rae integrates parts work, EMDR, and relational approaches to help clients understand not just what they feel, but how those feelings live in the body and nervous system. Sessions are spacious, honest, and flexible -- clients are welcome to swear, laugh, cry, stim, bring pets on screen, or show up exactly as they are. Rae works from a harm reduction, anti-oppressive lens and centres safety, consent, and choice. They are especially passionate about supporting folx navigating trauma, identity exploration, relationships, burnout, grief, and life transitions. Therapy with Rae is less about ""fixing"" and more about building capacity, self-trust, and compassion for all parts of the self.

Outside of therapy, Rae gravitates toward things that keep them embodied, curious, and connected. They love spending time with animals (and are very pro-pet interruptions), being cosy at home, and finding small moments of joy in daily life. They're often reading about trauma, justice, bodies, and relationships -- not just professionally, but because they genuinely love learning how humans work.Rae enjoys creative rest, deep conversations, laughing loudly, and building community. They care a lot about sustainability, mutual aid, and showing up imperfectly but honestly in the world. Much of their free time is about staying regulated, resourced, and human -- the same things they encourage for their clients.
