She/Her, She/Them
Octavia
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Octavia is a licensed therapist based in California with three years of clinical experience and over a decade of prior work in addiction recovery. She specializes in supporting individuals navigating challenges related to relationships, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, depression, and life transitions. Their therapeutic style is direct, experiential, humanistic, and grounded in authenticity. Octavia strives to create an open, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. She takes an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of modalities tailored to each person’s unique needs—because they believe there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing. In addition to their general practice, Octavia is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful method often used to help individuals process trauma or deeply rooted emotional patterns. At the heart of her work is the belief that each person is the expert on their own life. Octavia sees her role as a supportive guide, helping clients uncover clarity, resilience, and meaningful change. She honors the courage it takes to seek support and is committed to empowering individuals on their journey toward a more fulfilling life.

Octavia is someone who feels most at home surrounded by plants, whether she’s tending to her garden or just enjoying the quiet satisfaction of watching something grow. Gardening is more than a hobby—it’s her way of slowing down and staying connected to herself and the world around her.Octavia also has a deep love for travel and seeks out opportunities to experience life beyond the familiar. Exploring new places, meeting people from different backgrounds, and trying things for the first time bring her energy and perspective. She’s curious by nature and values the richness that comes from stepping outside of routine. What drives her most, though, is connection. She genuinely enjoys getting to know people—sharing stories, listening with intention, and finding common ground. For her, building meaningful relationships isn’t just something she enjoys; it’s a core part of who she is. Making space for real human connection is both her passion and her purpose.
