Kathryn Nuñez

She/Her
Kathryn
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Kathryn believes in therapy both due to her own experience and from the benefits her clients have proclaimed during and after working with her. It is easy for Kathryn to believe in her clients and encourage them, support them, and coach them into a deeper understanding of themselves and their world while building skills to better navigate life and relationships. If anyone is looking to stay comfortable, Kathryn is probably not a good fit. Kathryn believes that part of healing and growth is the empowering act of accountability and increasing distress tolerance, which can widen up the world for her clients.

In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys watching movies and shows, seeing live theater or comedy, traveling, and spending time with family, all usually done in the company of her husband. She also likes cuddling and playing with her little dog (though she never saw herself as a little dog person until she had one), Babybel... like the cheese. Kathryn is a big fan of reading, especially audiobooks because listening to them helps her stay on task with household chores. Her career previous to becoming a therapist was as an actor and singer, which she still delights in from time to time as a way to "fill her own well," so to speak.
