About
Kate
I became a therapist because I’ve always been fascinated by the connection between our experiences, relationships, and emotional well-being. I believe that healing happens when we better understand ourselves, learn new ways to respond to life’s challenges, and feel genuinely supported along the way.
My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being fully themselves - without judgment or pressure. I see therapy as a partnership, and I work alongside my clients to help them better understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck, build practical tools for navigating stress and emotions, and create more fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.
I also believe that growth doesn’t come from being perfect. It comes from developing self-awareness, self-compassion, and the confidence to make choices that align with who you want to be. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or the impact of past experiences, my goal is to help them feel more grounded, empowered, and connected in their daily life.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, spending time with family and friends, and exploring all that Los Angeles has to offer. You can often find me taking a long walk with my French bulldog, trying a new restaurant, attending a workout class, or spending time near the beach. I also love traveling, learning, and reading about psychology, relationships, and personal growth - although I try to balance that with activities that help me recharge and be present.
As someone who values connection and curiosity, I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and hearing their stories. I believe our experiences shape us, and I strive to create a space where clients feel accepted, understood, and supported as they navigate their own journey.
