Jonathan
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Jon enjoys building a highly supportive and collaborative relationship with his clients and prioritizes building a psychological sense of safety for each client so they feel secure expressing what they are feeling. Once that foundation is laid, Jon works with the client to help them formulate long-term goals and progress toward them. To do so, he reflects client strengths and figures out how to best leverage them to assist the client in formulating an identity that more closely aligns with how they would like to see themselves. Together, they explore how to best reframe self-critical thought patterns and cognitive distortions, and also what the client would like out of life and how to live a life that aligns with their value system.

In his spare time, Jon enjoys reading, watching movies, trying new restaurants, listening to podcasts and spending time with his dog, Noodle, and cat, Nori.
