Amberlyn Keller
She/Her
Amberlyn
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Amberlyn likes to focus on client centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT);
dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and has a realistic approach to counseling building a strong therapeutic relationship with each client. Amberlyn teaches others about how everything in life that is done is in relationships. She believes working through grief and trauma is important in moving forward in life. Mindfulness focus can help with this. She feels that each meeting with a client is a conversation that serves a purpose where the client can talk things out, think things through and grow.
She is also willing to work with people who have experienced traumatic brain injuries as well as other medical conditions due to her own experience with surviving a stroke in 2020. Counseling individuals dealing with the loss of a beloved pet or impending loss is also a focus for her as well as helping people manage job stress, or loss, and career management.
In her spare time, Amberlyn enjoys spending time with her kitties at home, going to the gym to take part in group fitness classes such as boxing and yoga. She also enjoys running, swimming, and biking. Lifting weights is also something she likes to do as well. Amberlyn enjoys listening to music and reading as well.
