Compensation that reflects your value
Our hourly rates empower you to control your earnings based on the number of clients you choose to serve, with the potential for yearly merit increases based on performance. As a W-2 employee, you'll enjoy simplified taxes, paid sick leave, and employer-sponsored retirement benefits. Additionally, you have the ability to work with other mental health companies or maintain your private practice while still being part of our supportive team.
Benefits
Have taxes automatically withheld and payments filed on your behalf. 1099 contractors are responsible for both the employer and the employee portions of Social Security and Medicare taxes, significantly reducing their take-home pay.
Accrue paid sick leave up to 80 hours per year, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Enjoy peace of mind with malpractice insurance coverage. Contractors are fully liable for malpractice, without any insurance provided by the employer, adding significant risk and expense.
Our hourly compensation includes paid admin time, no-shows, and late cancellations (within 48 hours).
Receive paid 1:1 time to connect with your manager monthly for support and feedback.
A place for you to thrive
We empower our mental health therapists with the tools, training, and support they need to make a positive impact on their clients’ lives. Part-time therapists are supported in growth and development through clinical team meetings and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) training. Plus, they have the option to participate in specialized consultation groups and an APA-Accredited Therapist Development program during their own time.
Inclusion you can feel
At Two Chairs, we’re building a diverse and inclusive clinical community not only to provide better care to historically underserved clients but also to create an inclusive workplace for therapists. Among our mental health therapists, 46% identify as BIPOC and 24% identify as LGBTQIA+. Collectively they cover 90+ areas of expertise, 20+ clinical styles, and speak 15+ languages. You’ll feel welcome, included, and fulfilled in your work as a part-time mental health therapist at Two Chairs.
