About
Kate
Kate became a therapist out of a deep love for working with people and a passion for helping them create more fulfilling, empowered lives. She believes that improving the relationship we have with ourselves opens the door to more authentic and meaningful connections with others. Kate’s clinical style is warm, intuitive, and direct—she balances deep empathy with a thoughtful willingness to gently challenge clients when it supports their growth. Clients often describe her as real and grounded, with an ability to hold a safe, nonjudgmental space while offering clear clinical insight. Kate tailors her approach to each client’s needs, integrating structured, goal-oriented techniques with open-ended exploration. She draws from a range of modalities including CBT, DBT, psychodynamic theory, mindfulness, somatic work, attachment-based models, and solution focused work. Whether the focus is on managing emotions, healing relationships, or shifting negative thought patterns, Kate’s goal is to help clients feel seen, supported, safe, and capable of meaningful change.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys spending time with her dog, being active outdoors, hiking, and running. She finds joy in laughter, music, and her relationships with family and friends.
