Dr. Conrad strongly believes in a collaborative relationship in treatment, and that individuals need to be empowered to make the best decisions for them and their life. This involves providing extensive psychoeducation and engaging in multidisciplinary treatment approaches. Medications can and do provide significant benefits, but this is always also considered in the context of other treatment options.
Dr. Conrad spends her free time in her garden, reading, and fostering kittens for her local humane society. She also enjoys knitting, cooking, and painting.
