Tina is a Clinician at Two Chairs in Redwood City.
Her motivation to work in the mental health field comes from her experiences with lack of treatment for family members in the developing world. When effective treatment is available, suffering and pain from mental health issues can be reduced and a person can live life to their full potential. Therefore as a therapist, she believes in being a guide and witness to the path of healing, no matter what her clients are struggling with. She uses evidence-based approaches customized to her clients’ needs within a relational framework to provide treatment. She also provides trauma-informed care using neuroscience research where she supports clients with moving from “what’s wrong with you” to “what happened to you,” finding healing from all kinds of traumatic events in their past.
Outside work, she likes to spend time with her family and friends, playing with her dog, reading, catching up on the latest TV shows and hiking in nature.
