Amy
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Amy enjoys time with her clients to get to know who they genuinely are, what they value in life, and what they feel is getting in the way of a life of fulfillment. We were not raised in, nor do we currently live in, a vacuum, shielded from negative influences. At the same time, we were not raised without gifts from the world, no matter how few or small. Amy helps her clients practice processing and identifying what has been internalized, and then letting go of what is no longer helpful to them through therapeutic approaches adapted to each individual client’s needs. She will ask, “How can we befriend our own minds and bodies?” Amy is personable and understanding and takes a conversation-style approach to therapy (including appropriately timed jokes).

Amy lives a life full of leisure walks to smell the fresh air, and she enjoys exploring unexplored music, watching television, spending time with friends, and occasionally reorganizing everything in her house for subtle change.
